Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism
Worked perfect for me. I installed these into my motherboard and there was any adjustment necessary. I was concerned when they reflected 665Mhz in Speccy. I went to my BIOS and they were showing 1333. I just didn't realize the way they showed their info. These are dual channel so 665x2=1330 and that is exactly what they are rated at. I didn't adjust the timing. They work perfect while I am gaming, surfing or anything else so if it isn't broke I am not gonna worry about it. I am gonna upgrade to Win 7 64bit next month so right now my 32bit XP OS can only see 3.0GB. Speccy sees all 8GB. They were set to 9-9-9-25. I am not gonna worry about fine tuning until I install the new OS. I will be back when I tighten them up and run them for a while. For now they are EXACTLY what I needed for my P67A-G43 board. I looked in the QVL for the board and made sure they would work in all 4 slots. I installed them in the slot closest to my CPU and the other blue slot. Slot 1 & 3 . I installed the first DIMM slot and then the third slot. I then installed my i5-2500K and then the Cooler Master V8 cooler and I have plenty of room between the DIIMs and the cooler pipes.I installed everything else and installed all that in my AZZA 2000R routing the wires out of the way and it booted right up. I set up the date and time and HDD boot order and was off to the races. I already had my drivers downloaded and extracted to my desktop and when XP booted up( I already had XP installed on the HDD and had been using it for a couple years with completely different hardware. ) I canceled all the auto search/install/found new hardware processes and just ran each individual setup file in each of the folders for all of my hardware. Of course it didn't "find" the ram but I didn't run into any problems with the RAM or any blue screens when it booted and during and after the subsequent driver installs and reboots. so I am more than pleased with the RAM.
